Function: This DPF is designed to efficiently capture and remove particulate matter (PM) or soot from diesel engine exhaust gases, helping your vehicle meet stringent emission regulations and operate more cleanly.
Working Principle: The filter traps soot particles as exhaust gases pass through its porous ceramic structure. With a catalytic coating applied, the DPF not only captures PM but also promotes oxidation of carbon (C) into CO₂ and enhances passive regeneration under lower exhaust temperatures.

Diesel Particulate Filters (DPFs) are designed to trap and remove particulate matter (PM) and soot from diesel exhaust gases. The filter’s wall-flow structure forces the gas through porous walls, while particles are captured inside the channels.
During regeneration, the captured soot is burned off at high temperatures via oxidation reactions:(

This process reduces emissions, protects the turbocharger and EGR systems, and ensures compliance with environmental regulations.

A: Yes. A clean and properly installed DPF helps reduce PM (Particulate Matter) emissions and supports compliance with most diesel inspection standards. Be sure your engine is in good condition and regeneration is working.
A: Yes. DPFs can be cleaned by professional thermal or liquid regeneration methods. However, if the filter is physically damaged or melted, replacement is recommended.
A: Yes. Silicon Carbide DPFs support both passive and active regeneration, depending on your vehicle’s engine system. Passive regeneration occurs during high-speed driving; active regeneration is triggered by the ECU when needed.(Yes, only for coated DPF)
A: No. Our filters are designed with optimized cell density and wall thickness to maintain proper flow rate and engine performance. A new DPF may improve fuel economy and turbo response if your old one was blocked.
A: We recommend professional installation. The filter core may need to be welded into an existing housing or adapted to your exhaust pipe.
