The most common filter is made of cordierite. Cordierite filters provide excellent filtration efficiency, are relatively inexpensive (comparison with Sic wall flow filter). The major drawback is that cordierite has a relatively low melting point.

| Noble metals (such as platinum, palladium) or metal oxides (such as CeO₂, ZrO₂) are usually coated as catalysts to promote the oxidation reaction of particulate matter (PM). It can passively regenerate through catalytic reaction at a lower temperature (about 250 - 350°C), convert soot into CO₂ and reduce the frequency of active regeneration (high temperature combustion). It can catalyze the conversion of NOₓ at the same time (such as SCR function) to achieve coordinated treatment of multiple pollutants. | It only relies on physical filtration and needs to actively regenerate and burn soot at high temperature (about 550 - 650°C), which has higher energy consumption and strict requirements on engine operating conditions. xReturns Policy
You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. We'll also pay the return shipping costs if the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.).
You should expect to receive your refund within four weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly.
